Online registration with FamilyID and a Physical Form signed by a physician are required for any student to tryout and/or participate in athletics at Encinal.  Registration opens on July 1 of the school year for which you are registering.

We expect our student-athletes to be students first and maintain exemplary character in the classroom by being in class on time everyday, modeling mature behavior, and focusing on academics. If any student-athlete falls below a 2.0 he/she must see the Athletic Director for the possibility of being granted a one-time probation (only if GPA is between 1.50-1.99). If probation is granted, there will be weekly progress checks in order to maintain eligibility.

If your son/daughter has NOT attended Encinal High School for 12 months, he/she will need to see the Athletic Director for transfer paperwork. Transfer students are NOT allowed to participate in ANY game, scrimmage, or competition until cleared. Participation prior to clearance could result in forfeiture of games and ineligibility. Additional Transfer Information

Encinal maintains a Multi-School Agreement with the following schools: Alameda Science and Technology Institute (ASTI), NEA Community Learning Center, and Alameda Community Learning Center (ACLC).  Students enrolled at one of these schools may participate and compete in athletics at Encinal as long as they reside in Encinal High School's attendance zone.

Please check the AUSD SchoolSite Locator to determine if your address qualifies you to play at Encinal.
