Cash for College Night (FAFSA)

EHS will be holding its annual Cash for College Night on Thursday, November 1st, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Student Center.  All Seniors should fill out the FAFSA form to be eligible for scholarships, grants and loans for 4-year colleges, 2-year colleges and technical schools.  There will be a financial aid workshop for parents, as well.  Student are eligible to win an Amazon gift card just for attending!  

 

Who: High School Seniors & their Parents/Guardians

Where/When: EHS Media Center, November 1st, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

 

Students should bring:

1) Student and parent social security #s (or Alien Registration # if not a U.S. citizen.  If you have neither, can still qualify for the Dream ACT).

2) Most recent Federal Tax forms (1040, W-2, bank statements- for your private use only).

 

Both students and at least one parent/guardian must create an FSA ID BEFORE you start the FAFSA https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm

College Application Help Nights

Just a reminder that we will be hosting our annual College Application Help Nights in November (Tuesdays and Thursdays)!

 

We have the following dates slated on the calendar:  11/6, 11/8, 11/13, 11/15 & 11/27 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the EHS Student Center.  All seniors who are applying to the CSU, UC or private schools should join for one of more of these nights.

 

All CSU and UC applications are due November 30th!!  Given that we are off for Thanksgiving break the week of 11/19, we encourage seniors to submit their applications beforehand.
