    Week of february 9th~updated


    It's starting to feel a little bit like spring here at Encinal!  We hope the nice weather sticks around for February Break, which happens to be next week.  But in the meantime, here's what's happening at Encinal this week.

    Junior Class Parent Meeting:  This meeting has been cancelled.

    SSC Meeting:  The School Site Council will be meeting on Wednesday as well at 6:00pm in the Student Center.  The agenda for this meeting was sent out via email on Sunday.  All interested parents/guardians or students, are welcome to attend.

    Athletic Boosters:   The Encinal Athletic Boosters will be meeting THURSDAY NIGHT, FEBRUARY 13TH at 6:30 in Room 605.  ((This is a change).  The Boosters are currently working on their largest fundraiser of the year, our annual crab feed, so please come on out and see how you can help.

    Progress Reports:  Progress Report grades will be posted for parent/guardian/student viewing by Friday, February 14th.

    Looking Ahead

    February Break:  February Break is next week.  There will be no school between Monday, February 17th through Friday, February 21st.  School resumes on Monday, February 24th.

    Spring Sports Parent Meeting:  There is a mandatory parent/guardian meeting for all students participating in Spring Athletics.  This meeting will take place on Monday, February 24th at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.

    AP Exams must be paid for no later than March 11th in the Banking Office.

      Encinal Junior Senior High serves a diverse group of students, and our academic programs reflect that diversity. We promote academic rigor, in-depth study, challenging coursework, and a range of study that complements a variety of student interests. The curriculum is college preparatory, filled with honors and Advanced Placement (AP) classes and allows for the individual progression of students’ aptitudes and interests during their stay at EJSH.

      The high school education program is structured so that every student will fulfill graduation and college entrance requirements. Our diverse educational programs ensure that students are competitive candidates for top colleges and universities.
